Set up iPhone Wave Broadband

1 Choose settings

2 Scroll down and choose Mail, Contacts and Calendars

3 Tap Add account and select Other

4 Tap Add Mail Account and enter the following information:

Name: your name
Email: your Wave Broadband email-address
Password: your Wave Broadband email-password
Description: enter "Wave Broadband"

5 Choose pop3 under incoming mail server and enter the following information:

Hostname: mail.wavecable.com
Username: email
Password: your email-password

6 Scroll down and under outgoing mail server, enter the following information:

Hostname: mail.wavecable.com
Username: email
Password: your email-password

7 Tap save and in select your emailadress in the next screen.

8 Scroll down and under outgoing mail server choose SMTP.

9 Under Main server select mail.wavecable.com and make sure the following information is displayed:

SSL: none
Serverport: 25

10 Tap done and go to the previous screen. Choose Advanced and make sure the following information is correct:

SSL: none
Serverport: mail.wavecable.com

11 Again, go back to the previous screen. Restart your iPhone to finish the setup!

  • I have successfully had emails coming to my iphone in the past. unable to verify information. The error is get says "The SMTP server "mail.wavecable.com is not responding. check to make sure you entered in the "outgoing mail server" field. I have tried server port 25 and 110 with no luck

  • I can't get my email account to work on Iphone. Thought I could get help from store in Stanwood but women there was rude; computer email keeps downloading repeating emails. The upgrading program has messed everything up; I am not savvy about how to reprogram everything; tried to follow online directions with no success.
